Cílem této bakalářské práce je návrh aplikace na podporu investorů obchodujících na akciových a komoditních burzách. Práce je primárně určena pro individuální investory, ale může být využitá i jinými mikroekonomickými subjekty a širokou veřejností. Aplikace bude obsahovat soubor nejdůležitějších a nejpoužívanějších nástrojů Money-managmentu a statistiky, pomocí kterých bude možné identifikovat silné a slabé stránky obchodní strategie. Investor získá možnost modifikovat svoji strategii v zájmu zvýšení úspěšnosti obchodů, snížení volantility výsledků a v neposlední řadě navýšení celkové ziskovosti obchodního systému.This bachelor work is concerned with the development of Windows application for stock and futures traders that is designed to help maximize the performance of trading systems and discretionary trading methods. The application is suggested primarily for individual traders but can be used by small businesses as well as general public. With the application investor will be able to gain confidence in his trading by identifying the unique strengths and weaknesses of trading system or method and adapting his trading accordingly. The result is a higher percentage of winning trades, lower drawdown, more consistent returns and greater profitability.

Building an Effective Competitive Intelligence System for XXX Corporation

This diploma thesis results from the need for Competitive Intelligence as a system for gathering, analyzing and communicating information about competitors to obtain a competitive advantage. The work attempts to analyze current knowledge gathering processes as well as an application of that information for strategic decision making inside the XXX corporation. After definition of basic terms several different methods and approaches to Competitive Intelligence are described. These methods are reviewed and those that suit XXX requirements best are picked up afterwards. In this thesis there are also identified some of the crucial information sources, to begin with public and commercial databases and catalogues, business publications, online sources, personal knowledge, but also data-mining and other sophisticated methods. The main contribution of this work is the proposal of Competitive Intelligence system itself, empathising an effective functionality that solves identified issues, and is based on our theoretical resources and on actual competence of the company.

DETECTION OF PERSONS AND HEIGHT ESTIMATION IN VIDEO SEQUENCE

    Get PDF
The principal goal of this paper is the design and subsequent development of a solution for visual monitoring of specific area. Monitoring includes detection of movement and detection of person in the video sequence. Further additional information is to be extracted, i.e. the number of persons in the area and the height of subjects. Authors of paper propose own solution based on prior comparative analysis of current works and design mobile solution, where the development board handles all the data processing. Intel Galileo development board was selected. Implementation and subsequent testing proves the hardware and software solution to be fully functional

    Adaptive Aggregation of Flow Records

This paper explores the problem of processing the immense volume of measurement data arising during network traffic monitoring. Due to the ever-increasing demands of current networks, observing accurate information about every single flow is virtually infeasible. In many cases the existing methods for the reduction of flow records are still not sufficient enough. Since the accurate knowledge of flows termed as "heavy-hitters" suffices to fulfill most of the monitoring purposes, we decided to aggregate the flow records pertaining to non-heavy-hitters. However, due to the ever-changing nature of traffic, their identification is a challenge. To overcome this challenge, our proposed approach - the adaptive aggregation of flow records - automatically adjusts its operation to the actual traffic load and to the monitoring requirements. Preliminary experiments in existing network topologies showed that adaptive aggregation efficiently reduces the number of flow records, while a significant proportion of traffic details is preserved

ADVANCED COMMUNICATION SOLUTION FOR COMMUNICATION OF CITY GOVERNMENTS TO ITS CITIZIENS

In this paper, the advanced solution for improving the communication between municipalities and its citizens using mobile software solution is presented. Presented research covers the overview of available technologies for the client‑server based communication and further presents their comparison. Different projects that aimed to improve interaction between citizens and municipalities are introduced. Except for the improvement, this study also analyzes weak points of the analyzed solutions. Another point of interest is live streaming and its use with appropriate protocols on mobile platforms such as Android or iOS. Security of streaming server Wowza Media Systems is also part of research. Suitable technologies for client-server communication, applicable improvements for municipality-citizen communication and eligible streaming protocols were subsequently picked and deployed in the solution. Proposed solution is experimentally verified in the form of mobile application for devices with operating systems Android and iOS called Poprad Naživo. This application allows citizens to interact with parliamentarians of city council in Poprad in the real time. Implementation covers three main functionalities including live streaming, discussion and voting. All proposed functionalities and their reliability were experimentally tested and prove the proposed solution to be usable and ready to be implemented in the real-world environment

An Approach to the Estimation of Dimensions from Static Images

    No full text
The broad goal of this study is the estimation of dimensions of real-world multidimensional objects. The focus is on the human being and its dimensional parameters, primarily the height. The approach to the estimation of the height in a single camera environment is presented and is experimentally verified. The proposed method presumes that the distance from the optical device to the human body and its Vertical Field of View (VFOV) are known. The VFOV has to be calculated or acquired only once for a specific device. The accuracy of the proposed method is validated by a series of test scenarios including, e.g., statistical height measurements

Experimental Solution for Estimating Pedestrian Locations from UAV Imagery

    No full text
This research describes an experimental solution used for estimating the positions of pedestrians from video recordings. Additionally, clustering algorithms were utilized to interpret the data. The system employs the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm for object detection. The detection algorithm is applied to video recordings provided by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). An experimental method for calculating the pedestrian’s geolocation is proposed. The output of the calculation, i.e., the data file, can be visualized on a map and analyzed using cluster analyses, including K-means, DBSCAN, and OPTICS algorithms. The experimental software solution can be deployed on a UAV or other computing devices. Further testing was performed to evaluate the suitability of the selected algorithms and to identify optimal use cases. This solution can successfully detect groups of pedestrians from video recordings and it provides tools for subsequent cluster analyses
